DEFINITIONS

Spiritual | Spiritual pertains to matters that are related to the spirit or soul, often in contrast to the physical or material aspects of life. It encompasses beliefs, practices, and experiences that connect individuals to something greater than themselves, which can include a sense of purpose, a connection to the divine, or an exploration of inner self. Spirituality can be expressed in various forms, such as religion, meditations, or a deep appreciation for nature and life.

Consciousness | An elevated state of awareness where an individual perceives their true self beyond the physical body, mind, and ego, recognizing a connection to the divine or universal existence. It involves observing thoughts and emotions without being controlled by them, shifting from a reactive, ego-driven mindset to one of intentional presence and inner peace. We are able to transcend the ego through the realization that "I am not the body or mind," but rather the eternal witness or higher self.

Wholistic Education | Teachings that consider the elements of the WHOLE person and involve the mental, emotional, energetic, physical, spiritual, and social aspects of our lives. This comprehensive teaching philosophy focuses on the whole person and fosters connections to family, community, nature, and values aiming to nurture intrinsically motivated, confident, and resilient individuals.

Heart | An intelligent system with its own intrinsic nervous system containing over 40,000 neurons capable of sensing, processing, and making decisions independently. Research from the HeartMath Institute shows that the heart’s rhythm patterns reflect emotional states. The heart is a central hub for emotional, cognitive, and spiritual intelligence – offering a pathway to greater harmony within the individual and with the world.

Intuitive Energy Healer | A wholistic practitioner that uses their intuition to sense and address emotional energy imbalances in a person’s body, mind, and spirit.

Intuition | The ability to understand or know something immediately, without conscious reasoning or deliberate thought.  It is often described as a "gut feeling" or an immediate sense of knowing, arising from the unconscious mind rapidly processing past experiences, patterns, and knowledge.

Mindset | A mindset refers to a set of beliefs, attitudes, or assumptions that shape how individuals perceive and respond to the world.  It acts as a mental lens, influencing thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and reactions—particularly in challenging situations. Mindsets can be conscious or deeply ingrained, often operating outside of immediate awareness.

Energy | A dynamic field of energy that supports consciousness, vitality, and overall wellbeing. Unlike the tangible physical form, the energy body operates on vibrational frequencies that influence both the individual and others with whom they come in contact.

Empathy | Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings, thoughts, and experiences of another person. It involves recognizing and appreciating what someone else is going through, often leading to emotional connection and compassion.

Natural Law | Emphasizes principles that govern the natural world and human behavior that often focuses on concepts such as interconnectedness, balance, cause and effect, the law of attraction, vibrational frequencies, and the importance of living in harmony with nature.

Trauma | An internal emotional and physiological response to a deeply distressing or disturbing event that overwhelms an individual’s ability to cope, causing feelings of helplessness and diminished self-worth.

Social Engineering | Social engineering is a manipulation technique used to influence human behavior and exploit human psychology —such as trust, fear, urgency, or curiosity for the purpose of control

Nervous System | The nervous system is the physical instrument of the soul or spirit. It functions as the body's command and control center, coordinating communication between the brain and all parts of the body to regulate both voluntary and involuntary processes.

Emotional Coherence | A state where a person's thoughts, feelings, and physical body are aligned and working together seamlessly, like a well-tuned system.

E-motion | Energy in motion is a concept emphasizing that emotions are not static feelings but dynamic forces flowing through the body. This energy must move to maintain balance; when suppressed, it can manifest as physical or emotional symptoms like anxiousness, chronic pain, or depression.
